Hi everyone! I guess it's about time that I update everyone again, let's see what's been new this past month. We have mostly just been doing the same kind of things, Adam successfully made it through his midterms just in time to start studying for finals. I can't believe that he starts his first final just next week and that it's already been nearly a whole semester. I keep on the process of adjusting to my new job which as everything has it's ups and downs. I am trying to stay positive and keep myself busy which should be easy with all the work I have getting ready for the Holidays and trying to keep everything organized at home. We had a nice visit with Adams mom over Thanksgiving. I was really grateful to get to spend some time with family although we do have amazing home teachers and are starting to make friends in our ward which has been a little difficult since we are in the nursery. We do love the extra time with Keegan every week. I can't beleive that he will be moving into sunbeams in January! He is so big! It has been a bit of a rough month for me. I got a phone interview with Teach for America but didn't move on to the final interview stage which was a big dissappoinment and I am just trying to decide where to go from here. I am grateful for my job and the income and benefits that it provides but I admit I am struggling to enjoy being a receptionist in a new office where I don't really have any friends. I am ready to move on to better things expecially with all the changes that have happened in our lives recently, I just don't seem to be able to make a move upward. I am glad that I am now out of my probationary period at work which means I can take time off and we have insurance which is good since Adam will be having a root canal done right after finals.
I am getting excited for Christmas even though this it will be hard especially for me to be away from all my family and friends I am really hoping I get to look forward to visiting for a wedding very soon. We had a good time starting our Christmas shoppping last Saturday and found some really fun things for Keegan. We did break down and buy him a Kitty webkinz since he has been completely obsessed with Cats lately. It is his new favorite thing and he will not let it out of his sight. Sunday we got out all our Christmas decorations and Keegan loved decorating the tree, especially putting the candy canes all over it. We are going to have to replace the candy canes three times before Christmas at the rate he has been eating them. We also found this pair of 'Reindeer Ears' that Keegan wore all day long. He cried when we had to take them off at church! But this photo was so cute I had to share.
